Champs from Bhopal Manas Sharma and Lucky, to chime in Water Sports Jr. Rowing Championship to held in Singapore.

Champs from Bhopal Manas Sharma and Lucky, to chime in  Water Sports Jr. Rowing Championship to held in Singapore. 


 

Junior champs, Manas and Lucky from  Madhya Pradesh Sports Academy( Tatya Tope Stadium Bhopal)  will represent India in Jr. Asian Rowing Championship to held in Singapore from 8th to 15th October. The lads will represent Indian team at the championship. 

Yashodhara Raje Scindia, the Youth, and Welfare Minister from state congratulated the champs while expressing happiness over the selection of Academy player Manas Sharma and Lucky for the Junior Asian Rowing Championship.  The Key pair event is "ClockSails" where the duo will show their power to fight the tide. 

Currently, the champs are in full swing preparing for the Junior Asian Rowing Championship in the National Training Camp at Hyderabad. They will depart from Hyderabad on coming October 7 for Singapore.

It is worth mentioning that the boys are training hard form past two years and Lucky had won the bronze medal in the Senior Asian Rowing Championship held in Thailand lately, and  likewise, Manas Sharma too has grabbed the Medials in various National Championships.

 The said players had prepared and are getting training under the guidance of  Rowing Specialist Cap. Dalbeer Singh Rathor. -
