Students Must Focus on Skill Development beside Degrees: MoS Deepak Joshi

Bhopal: Minister of State for Technical Education and Skill Development Department (Independent Charge) Labour, and School Education Deepak Joshi said that students of technical field must focus on skill development besides obtaining degree. He mentioned that the polytechnic students must develop skills to provide employment to others. Joshi was addressing the students of Betul Polytechnic on Sunday.

Joshi while prasing the arrangements at Betul Polytechnic, stated that tour of Principals of other Polytechnic Colleges will be arranged to observe the works carried out for environment, spiritualism and academic reforms in this college. Joshi inspected the classes of the college and discussed with the students about their problems, studies and arrangements. He made an announcement for construction of auditorium for the convenience of the students in the next fiscal year.

MoS Joshi informed the students that a facility will be provided to the students attempt polytechnic examination in Hindi language. Also arrangements are being made for online training for skill and entrepreneurship development of students. Joshi concluded the Happiness programme organized in the polytechnic college and observed the works related to water conservation. He also launched mobile app prepared by the college for providing technical knowledge to the students for competitive examinations. Moreover, he released the International Journal of Polytechnic Study and inaugurated the website of ex-students union. Students presented a cheque of Rs. One lakh collected by them under the Fund Battalion to Shri Joshi.

Minister of State Joshi participated in the concluding function of 20th Regional Sports Programme of Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad Madhya Bharat. He distributed the awards to the winner players and made an announcement of Rs. 51 thousand for Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad from his discretionary fund.-Windowtonews
