Shaurya Dal made village Sahsana addiction-free

Bhopal: Rural women in village Sahsana removed liquor shop from the village. Activities like addiction and gambling were banned totally. Strict ban was put on men for involving in the activities with provision of fine for violation. Women did this by forming Shaurya Dal.
 
Village Sahsana is located in Jabera block of Damoh district. Getting organised, women of the village got village liquor shop closed down as part of de-addiction drive. The women put a ban on men that they will neither drink liquor nor play gambling. Warning has been issued to men that if they involve in such activities, fine will be slapped on them.

 Women of village Sahsana did it by forming Shaurya Dal by powers given by State Government. The women told that liquor and gambling had caused disturbance in peace in the village and families were breaking. Shaurya Dal removed the liquor shop from the village, holding a meeting with villagers. Decision was taken to ban liquor addiction and gambling activities. Now, atmosphere in the village has changed.-Windowtonews
