110 Tahsils of 13 Districts Declared Drought Affected

Bhopal: The state government has declared 110 Tahsils of 13 districts of the state as drought affected. 7 tahsils of district Ashoknagar, 8 of Bhind, 11 of Chhatarpur, 7 of Damoh, 5 of Gwalior, 5 of Indore, 9 of Panna, 11 of Sagar, 10 of Satna, 9 of Shivpuri, 7 of Sidhi, 10 of Tikamgarh and 11 tahsils of Vidisha have been declared drought affected.

Principal Secretary Revenue Arun Pandey informed that Ashoknagar, Chanderi, Isagarh, Shadora, Mungawali, Piprai, Nai Sarai of Ashoknagar district, Bhind, Gohad, Lahar, Mehgaon, Ron, Mihona, Ater, Gormi of Bhind district, Chhatarpur, Nowgaon, Rajnagar, Lodi, Gourihar, Bada Malhara, Vijawar, Bakswaha, Chandla, Ghuwara, Maharajpur of Chhatarpur district, Damoh, Batiagarh, Hata, Jawera, Pathriya, Tendukheda, Patera of Damoh district , Gwalior, Dabra, Bhitarwar, Chinor, Ghatigaon of Gwalior district, Indore, Mhow, Depalpur, Sanwaer, Hatod of Indore district and Panna, Ajaygarh, Gunore, Pawai, Shahnagar, Raipura, Amanganj, Devendra Nagar and Simaria tahsils of Panna district have been declared drought affected.

Similarly, Sagar, Khurai, Banda, Rahli, Gadhakota, Bina, Devri, Kesli, Rahatgarh, Malthone, Shahgarh of Sagar district, Raghuraj Nagar, Nagod, Amarpatan, Ucchera, Rampur-Baghelan, Ramnagar, Maihar, Majhgavan, Birsinghpur, Kotar of Satna district, Shivpuri, Pohri, Parwar, Karera, Kolaras, Picchore, Khaniyadhana, Badarwas, Bairadh of Shivpuri district, Bahri, Churhat, Gopdabnas, Kushmi, Majholi, Rampur Naikin, Sihawal of Sidhi district, Tikamgarh, Baldevgarh, Jatara, Palera, Prithvipur, Niwadi, Orchha, Khargapur, Mohangarh and Lithora of Tikamgarh district, Vidisha, Gyaraspur, Basoda, Nateran, Kurwai, Sironj, Lateri, Shamshabad, Tyonda, Gulabganj and Pathari tahsils of Vidisha district have been declared drought affected.
