Mumbai Jan 4 (IANS) The key Indian equity indices on Thursday were trading higher soon after opening.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) was trading 69.56 points or 0.21 per cent higher soon after opening.
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 6.25 points or 0.06 per cent higher at 10 449.45 points.
The Sensex of the BSE which opened at 33 912.49 points was trading at 33 862.94 points (at 9.18 a.m.) higher 69.56 points or 0.21 per cent from the previous day s close at 33 793.38 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 33 916.75 points and a low of 33 847.51 points in the trade so far.
