Markets open on a higher note on Wednesday
Mumbai April 4 (IANS) The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.
The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 33 437.52 points touched a high of 33 468.78 points and a low of 33 353.09 points.
On Tuesday the Sensex closed at 33 370.63 points.
The Sensex is trading at 33 415.31 points down by 44.68 points or 0.13 per cent.
On the other hand the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 10 274.60 points after closing at 10 245.00 points.
The Nifty is trading at 10 249.85 points in the morning.
