Markets trade higher in morning session
Mumbai May 7 (IANS) The key Indian equity indices traded on a positive note on Monday tracking gains in the benchmark Asian markets.
At 10.20 a.m. the wider Nifty50 of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) traded at 10 651.95 points up 33.70 points or 0.32 per cent from the previous close of 10 618.25 points.
Similarly the barometer 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) of the BSE which opened at 34 983.59 points traded at 35 018.57 points (10.20 a.m.) -- up 103.19 points or 0.30 per cent -- from its previous session s close of 34 915.38 points.
The Sensex has so far touched a high of 35 061.56 and a low of 34 977.74 points.
