Markets open on a higher note on Wednesday
Mumbai June 6 (IANS) The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.
The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 34 932.49 points touched a high of 34 972.59 points and a low of 34 902.13 points.
On Tuesday the Sensex closed at 34 903.21 points.
The Sensex is trading at 34 922.87 points up by 26.22 points or 0.08 per cent.
On the other hand the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 10 603.45 points after closing at 10 593.15 points.
The Nifty is trading at 10 596.95 points in the morning.
