Key Indian equity indices open higher
Mumbai July 9 (IANS) The key Indian equity indices on Monday opened on a higher note.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) was trading 197.67 points or 0.55 per cent higher soon after opening.
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 62.55 points or 0.58 per cent higher at 10 835.20 points.
The Sensex of the BSE which opened at 35 835.10 points was trading at 35 855.53 points (at 9.21 a.m.) higher 197.67 points or 0.55 per cent from the previous day s close at 35 657.86 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 35 931.09 points and a low of 35 833.58 points in the trade so far.
