Chinese shares open lower
Beijing July 11 (IANS) Chinese stocks opened lower on Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.66 percent to open at 2 780.7 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened 1.96 per cent lower at 9 024.72 points Xinhua news agency reported.
The ChiNext Index China s NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises was down 1.91 per cent to open at 1 562.59 points.
