Chinese shares open lower
Beijing July 23 (IANS) Chinese stocks opened lower on Monday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.5 per cent to open at 2 815.2 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.68 per cent lower at 9 188.46 points Xinhua news agency reported.
The ChiNext Index China s NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises was down 1.08 per cent to open at 1 592.24 points.
