MP government waives-off Rs 1 lakh loan of tribals

Bhopal, March 8 (IANS) The MP government has waived-off up to Rs 1 lakh loans of tribal people, an official statement said here on Friday.The Tribals Affairs Department said that the people from the community who had taken loans under the various government schemes, will receive a loan waiver of up to Rs 1 lakh out of their total due amount. The scheme will be applicable to the amount taken on or before December 31, 2018. "The people who have taken debt under various schemes of the MP Tribal Finance and Development Corporation, the National Tribal Finance and Development Corporation and the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation will receive the benefits of loan waiver," the department said in a statement.
