Zee Ent falls sharply, media index down 2.34%

Mumbai, May 7 (IANS) Scrips of Zee Entertainment Enterprises witnessed a sharp fall of over 10 per cent on the BSE during the intra-day trade on Tuesday.The company's scrips fell up to 10.59 per cent to Rs 347.05 apiece but recovered to trade at Rs 368, down Rs 20.15 or 5.19 per cent during the afternoon session around 2.45 p.m.The Nifty Media index was also dragged down and was the top Nifty sectoral loser as it fell by 2.42 per cent.
