Adani, Zee star on Dalal Street as Modi is set to return

Mumbai, May 23 (IANS) Scrips of the Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd and Zee Entertainment Enterprises, perceived as being close to the present dispesation, finished at the top of the Nifty50 stocks on Thursday.The Gautam Adani-led, Gujarat-based Adani group is seen by the investors as being close to Modi while Subhash Chandra-led Zee group is also seen in a similar light.Zee Entertainment Enterprises shares closed 5.55 per cent higher while that of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone finished the session 5.84 per cent higher.Even on the day when exit polls showed Modi's return Adani stock witnessed healthy buying.
