Budget provides impetus to Housing for All

In order to provide an impetus to the Housing for All objective of the government and to enable the home buyer to have low-cost funds at his disposal, additional deduction of Rs 1.5 lakh will be available for interest on loan taken until March 31, 2020. The stamp duty value of house property should not exceed Rs 45 lakh and an individual must not own any residential house property on the date of sanction of the loan.
