Cellestial E-Mobility raises $ 200,000 funding

Tuesday - July 23, 2019 9:04 pm , Category : BUSINESS
Hyderabad, July 23 (IANS) Hyderabad-based startup Cellestial E-Mobility has raised $200,000 funding and is geared up to roll out its first electric vehicle (EV) prototype, the company said on Tuesday.
Cellestial E-Mobility, which launched business operations in May this year, is in the advanced stages of developing electric tractors with the longest battery life in the market, it said.
According to the startup, the first round of investment has come from angel investor Meka Sudhakar Reddy, a Singapore-based NRI with over 18 years of expertise in Logistics Spacing.
"We are readying to roll out the first prototype in the next one month," said Cellestial E-Mobility Founder-Promoter Siddhartha Durairajan.
He pointed out the e-mobility invention is a zero-emission ecological tractor apt for horticultural or greenhouse works, moving goods within factories, and to haul luggage at airports.
Cellestial has a capacity to build 100 e-mobility heavy vehicles and has the capability to create more volume if the consumption for its product grows.
The startup is upbeat about the market potential as the EV transition presents unmet opportunity for Indian manufacturers with all the major cities facing severe traffic congestion and increasing pollution levels.
