RBI booster dose: Key lending rate reduced by 35 bps to 5.40%

Mumbai, Aug 7 (IANS) To shore up slackening growth, the Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday reduced key lending rates by 35 basis points to 5.40 per cent. This was the fourth consecutive reduction in monetary policy reviews.
