Markets open on a positive note

Mumbai, Aug 14 (IANS) The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a positive note.The Sensex of the BSE opened at 37,233.50 and touched a high of 37,250.07 and a low of 36,043.73 after closing at 36,958.16 on Saturday. It was trading at 37,094.31 up by 136.15 points or 0.37 per cent.On the other hand, the broader 50-scrip Nifty at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 11,003.25 points after closing at 10,925.85 points. It is trading at 10,956.65 in the morning.
