Sovereign Gold Bonds FY20 Series V issue to open on Monday

New Delhi, Oct 4 (IANS) The Sovereign Gold Bonds 2019-20, Series V will open for public subscription from October 7-11, an official statement said on Friday.According to the Ministry of Finance, the issue price of the Bond during the subscription period shall be Rs 3,788 per gram with settlement date of October 15, 2019."Government of India in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India has decided to allow discount of Rs 50 per gram from the issue price to those investors who apply online and the payment is made through digital mode," a ministry statement said. "For such investors, the issue price of Gold Bond will be Rs 3,738 per gram of gold."
