Cabinet allows all companies to enter fuel retail business

New Delhi, Oct 23 (IANS) The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Wednesday liberalised the fuel retail policy by allowing all companies to enter the fuel retail segment.Till now, only companies with refinery businesses were allowed to enter th e fuel retail segment. The decision will allow companies with turnover of about Rs 250 crore to enter the fuel retail business. The fuels under consideration include petrol, diesel, LNG and CNG.
