MG Motor launches Gloster, India's first 'Autonomous Level 1' SUV

New Delhi, Oct 8 (IANS) Automobile manufacturer MG Motor India on Thursday launched India's first "Autonomous (Level 1)" SUV Gloster, at an inaugural price starting at Rs 28.98 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).According to the company, the SUV sports "Autonomous Level 1" features are enabled by Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)."It also includes 'Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Parking Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control', alongside others," the company said in a statement.The SUV is targeted towards the segment that ranges from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. It is available in four feature-intensive variants in India.
