SIS logs 42% growth in Q2 consolidated net profit

New Delhi, Oct 29 (IANS) Security and Intelligence Services (India) Ltd on Thursday reported a 41.9 per cent growth in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September at Rs 108.08 crore.During the corresponding period of the last financial year (FY20), the company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 76.16 crore.Its revenue from operations for the period under review stood at Rs 2,157.85 crore, 3.3 per cent higher on a year-on-year basis.For the first half of the current financial year (FY21), the company reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 4,325 cr, 5.6 per cent YoY growth.Group Managing Director Rituraj Kishore Sinha said: "Our H1 results are a testimony that essential services like ours have been least impacted during the Covid crisis and are amongst the first to recover. Our H1 revenues of Rs 4,325 cr is a 5.6 per cent increase YoY. With September revenues at Rs739 cr compared to March 2020 revenues of Rs720 cr, we are already well into recovery phase."
