Key Indian equity indices open higher
Mumbai Sep 5 (IANS) Key Indian equity market indices opened in the green on Tuesday following global cues.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) was trading 52.59 points or 0.17 per cent higher during the early session.
The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 13.35 points or 0.13 per cent higher at 9 926.20 points.
The BSE Sensex which opened at 31 755.16 points was trading at 31 754.84 points (at 9.18 a.m.) in the early session higher 52.59 points or 0.17 per cent from Monday s close at 31 702.25 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 31 780.97 points and a low of 31 743.22 points in the trade so far.
