Markets open on a higher note on Wednesday
Mumbai Sep 27 (IANS) The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.
The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 31 785.24 points and touched a high of 31 797.46 points and a low of 31 618.78 points.
On Tuesday the Sensex closed at 31599.76 points.
The Sensex is trading at 31 674.30 points up by 74.54 points or 0.24 per cent.
On the other hand the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 9 920.60 points after closing at 9 871.50 points.
The Nifty is trading at 9 880.35 points in the morning.
