Maruti s Dzire achieves fastest 1-lakh sales mark

New Delhi Oct 17 (IANS) Automobile major Maruti Suzuki on Tuesday said its all-new Dzire has achieved "fastest 1-lakh sales mark" in the Indian automobile industry.
According to the company the third generation Dzire launched in May 2017 has surpassed the 1-lakh sales milestone in just five-and-a-half months.
The auto manufacturer attributed the healthy sales growth to the sedan s "style and looks; the reliable and efficient Maruti Suzuki brand name and exciting new features in the car like the SmartPlay infotainment and the auto gear shift".
The sedan s diesel variant delivers a fuel economy of 28.4 km per litre while petrol fuel efficiency is 22 km per litre.
