Key Indian equity indices open higher
Mumbai Oct 30 (IANS) The key Indian equity indices on Monday opened higher.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) was trading 129.77 points or 0.39 per cent higher soon after opening.
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 41.45 points or 0.40 per cent higher at 10 364.50 points.
The Sensex of the BSE which opened at 33 260.10 points was trading at 33 286.99 points (at 9.19 a.m.) higher 129.77 points or 0.39 per cent from Friday s close at 33 157.22 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 33 295.33 points and a low of 33 206.93 points in the trade so far.
