Elated with success of Tu Aashiquii : Jannat
Mumbai Dec 10 (IANS) Actress Jannat Zubair Rahmani known for essaying the role of Pankti in "Tu Aashiquii" is on cloud nine as the daily soap has found a spot in the top five shows in India.
According to the Broadcast Audience Research Council India s ratings the Colors musical romance drama which premiered in September now features in the top five shows for the week gone by read a statement.
"I am elated with the success of the show and that all our hard work is paying off. It has been receiving a lot of appreciation right from the launch of the show and has been growing ever since. Entering in the top five shows is a big achievement for all of us " Jannat said in a statement.
The show narrates the life of once-debauched rockstar Ahaan (Ritvik Arora) who finally finds his sole purpose in life all thanks to Pankti. He gets a shock when he finds out that the love of his life has always been used by a rich man who happens to be Ahaan s uncle.
Ritvik said: " Tu Aashiquii is my first show and I feel extremely blessed to be a part of it. It s amazing to see people appreciate the story and concept of our show. Good ratings give us motivation to work harder and attain our true potential."
