Mumbai Dec 16 (IANS) Actor Suyyash Rai who is celebrating his first wedding anniversary with Kishwer Merchantt says he is thankful to his wife for loving him and making him a better person.



"I fell in love with her when my belief in love had died. She helps me every time to overcome my bad times. I m thankful to her that she believed in me when no one did. She always stood by me when I needed someone the most in the last seven years of my life. She made me a better person " Suyyash said in a statement.

"I m thankful to her to be my wife and loving me blindly " added the "Rishta Hum Likhenge Naya" actor.

The couple had appeared in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show "Bigg Boss" together.

Why Soni Singh finds Naamkarann special

Actress Soni Singh known for shows like "Sarojini - Ek Nayi Pehal" and "Sumit Sambhal Lega" says playing Sunehri in "Naamkarann" is special to her as the character reminds her of her role in "Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann".

"Essaying the role of Sunehri in Naamkarann is special to me as it reminds me of my days while shooting for Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann as Jhumki Rani. Both the characters are bold. Back then I played was a prostitute and now a bar dancer " Soni said in a statement.

"I m enjoying shooting as Sunehri as I m getting to perform and dance. Dance is my passion " she added.

Smita Singh fights her fear on birthday

Actress Smita Singh who tuned a year older on Saturday celebrated her birthday by facing her fear.

"I m celebrating my birthday in Auckland. People are loving and are quite fond of Indian television shows. I was given a wonderful welcome " Smita said in a statement.

Talking about her birthday plans she said her friends gave her a surprise during midnight. Then she overcame her fear of heights.

"I enjoyed sky diving. I can t tell you how wonderful it is. It s the most amazing experience of my life. I feel blessed to celebrate my birthday fighting my fear " said the actress who has featured in shows like "Hitler Didi" and "Thapki Pyar Ki".
