I want to explore films: Hiten

Monday - December 18, 2017 3:56 pm , Category : ENTERTAINMENT

Mumbai Dec 18 (IANS) Actor Hiten Tejwani who has been evicted from the reality TV show "Bigg Boss" wants to star in films. He feels it is an exciting time for Indian cinema.

"As an actor I want to explore films. It is an exciting time for Indian cinema. In fact before going to the show ( Bigg Boss I was meeting filmmakers for working on some of their upcoming projects. So now I will start from there " Hiten told IANS here after his stay in the Bigg Boss house concluded on Sunday.

So does he wish to work with the show s host and superstar Salman Khan in a film?

"Oh most definitely yes. Who doesn t want to? Salman Khan is amazing not only as a star but also because of the way he conducts himself in different situations and with people. There is a reason why he is admired by the nation " said the actor who has featured in films like "Krishna Cottage" and "Love Games".

On getting evicted from "Bigg Boss" the "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" actor said: "It crossed my mind for a moment that maybe I am evicted because I did not gain popularity and attention by bullying others; or maybe I did not entertain by taking part in fake fights and dirty politics in the house."

"But then I know that in the eyes of my fans and family I have come out as a winner. Standing for your dignity is not wrong. I have become a much stronger person now."

Talking about his former co-contestants he said: "With the constant dirty fight and screaming at each other these people are putting themselves in a bad light. It will affect them once they are out of the show. Who would want to work with someone who is ill-behaved negative and quarrelsome? In our entertainment industry we work as teammates. No one wants people in a unit who is negative."
