Every sport should be given equal importance: Jacqueline Fernandez

New Delhi Dec 18 (IANS) Actress Jacqueline Fernandez who is the co-owner of Delhi Heroes for the Super Fight League (SFL) -- a mixed martial arts tournament -- says all sports should be given equal importance in the country.

Asked if she feels martial arts needs to be spotlighted in India Jacqueline told IANS over phone from Mumbai: "I feel all sports should be (spotlighted). Every sport should be given equal importance."

Jacqueline 32 says the unique part about the second season of the MTV channel s show is that women are a part of the fight league too.

"What s very unique about this as well is the fact that they have really encouraged the women in the sport. They are a part of every single team and they are just as important as every one else. That for me is like a huge achievement " she added.

The "Judwaa 2" actress says she is confident about her team this year.

"Considering the fact that we did very well last year. We played really well. I really have a lot of confidence in the team. We have got some really strong players and our captain Jason Ramesh Solomon is also extremely promising. I am very confident for them this year " she said.

On the acting front Jacqueline currently has two films in her kitty -- "Race 3" and "Drive".
