2018 witnessing new genre of films, earnings have skyrocketed

WTN- Whooping Rs 1680 crore! That’s the business Bollywood has done in the first half of 2018. This year is one of the best in Indian Film industry despite IPL championships, FIFA World Cup. Indian cinema lovers have gone to watch movies by leaps and bound.
Almost 70 per cent of the films have worked phenomenally well at the box office. In fact, if we compare it with the first half of 2017, the rise in box office numbers are almost double, which is indeed a huge feat for the entertainment industry.
Films like Padmaavat, Sanju, Race 3, Baaghi 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, and Raazi have contributed majorly to this staggering amount. The film industry has grown up now days. There are more and more movies catering to larger audience base.
