Actor Corey Sligh found guilty of molesting minor

Los Angeles July 14 (IANS) Model-actor Corey Sligh who appeared on American television show "The Young and the Restless" has been found guilty of molesting a minor girl and can face up to 20 years jail term.
Sligh was arrested in his hometown of Canton Georgia in 2016 and charged after the victim s parents filed a police complaint against the actor for allegedly touching their daughter who was less than 10-year-old then in an inappropriate manner and asking her to do the same.
On June 28 the jury found Sligh guilty on one count of molesting a girl younger than 10 years reports people.com
The 31-year-old actor faces five to 20 years in prison and is being held in the Cherokee County jail.
Sligh awaits trial on another similar case in Florida.
