Rajesh Tailang to play lawyer in Mirzapur

Mumbai July 26 (IANS) Actor Rajesh Tailang who played an advocate in the film "Haseena Parkar" will now be seen as a criminal lawyer in the web series "Mirzapur".
"I am playing Ramakant Panday. He is a criminal lawyer. He takes cases in hand that nobody dares to take and this often lands him in trouble. But he is not afraid to fight for the truth. In a way he is the only positive character in the series " Rajesh said in a statement.
He is playing the on-screen father of actors Ali Fazal and Vikrant Massey.
Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar serve as the executive producers of the Amazon Prime Video s project created by Karan Anshuman and Puneet Krishna and directed by Gurmmeet Singh.
In the digital space Rajesh also has Anil Kapoor‘s "Selection Day" which is a Netflix original series.
"I play the lead in this series " he said.
