New Delhi, Oct 1 (IANSlife) From lilac and mint to pop neon orange and pastels, this festival season is a blast of colours, says designer Sasha Sharma.
The Mumbai-based designer recently showcased her Spring/Summer collection "Runaway Hitchhiker" at the North America Fashion Week in Seattle.
The collection boasts of minimalism with street style silhouettes coalesced with delicate organza, easy-breezy cotton and lightweight denim.
"When it comes to festive looks, people like to experiment a lot with interesting silhouettes and colours. My festival collection is incorporating those elements in everything from exaggerated sleeves to statement pockets," she says.
"The collection brings out the beauty of a beatnik who loves to wear her heart on her sleeve but is out-of-reach. Its colour palette comprises neutral and soft pastel tones with an interesting mix of playful prints," she adds.
Short bralettes, classic pantsuits with neon bralettes, pastel dresses and statement pocket denim pants are must-haves from Sasha's collection if you want to look beyond ethnic this festival season.
