Jim Broadbent regrets behaving badly

Los Angeles March 8 (IANS) Oscar-winning actor Jim Broadbent says he regrets being foolish earlier in life.

The 67-year-old who stars in new film The Sense of an Ending shared his views at a screening here reports pagesix.com.

I regret behaving badly when I was younger he said.

The actor added: I did not know any better at the time. The thing is that the incidents that I caused were not funny... Youth is wasted on the young. It is better to have the wisdom of an old man in a young body... I was a bit foolish and teased people trying to be funny.

He will also be seen in the seventh season of fantasy series Game of Thrones. He essays the role of an old professor. The HBO hit will premiere next year and will air in India on Star World Premiere HD.
