Atul Kulkarni to play officer in digital show

Mumbai March 17 (IANS) Actor Atul Kulkarni will play Brigadier Sathey in the first digital show to be launched under Ekta Kapoor s ALTBalaji. It will be directed by Nagesh Kukunoor.

Atul will play a tough taskmaster ensuring that the soldiers are trained to the best of their abilities. Talking about the role in the yet untitled show Atul said in a statement: As an actor it has always been my endeavour to work on stories and characters that are challenging and pose a unique point of view. When Nagesh spoke to me of this character and the series I was excited because not only does the character resonate with many people but we also get insight into a world which we know so little of.
