When Trump ousted One Direction from his hotel

Los Angeles March 18 (IANS) The former boy-band One Direction had a sour experience with US President Donald Trump when he kicked them out of his hotel for not meeting his daughter.

Singer Liam Payne a member of the band told Rollacoaster magazine that Trump called up the band s manager and did not let the band use the hotel s underground garage reports aceshowbiz.com.

Donald Trump kicked us out of his hotel once. You wouldn t believe it. It was about meeting his daughter. He phoned up our manager and we were asleep. He said Well wake them up and I was like No and then he wouldn t let us use the underground garage Payne said.

Obviously in New York we can t really go outside. New York is ruthless for us. So he was like Okay I don t want you in my hotel. So we had to leave he added.

The 23-year-old singer also spoke about his friendship with singer Justin Bieber.

He s a great guy. Inside there s a really good heart Payne said.

The singer also shared that he and Bieber once confided in each other as they dealt with similar chaotic lives.
