TV star Sara Khan set to release her song 'Chadd ke na jaa'

Tuesday - June 9, 2020 8:32 pm , Category : ENTERTAINMENT
Mumbai, June 9 (IANS) "Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai" actress Sara Khan is also a singer, and she is set to release her song "Chadd ke na jaa", which features actor Ashmit Patel alongside her in the video.
"It's a beautiful song with a beautiful message. Through this song, I wish to bring newfound hope to many women -- women who choose to stay in unhealthy relationships just so that they don't end up being alone. I want women to be self-dependent and self-content. The storyline of the song delivers a heart-touching message," she said.
"I've noticed that many girls, especially the younger generation, choose to stay in toxic relationships just because they're too afraid to be left alone, or from the sheer fear of ending up alone. And I feel there's nothing wrong with being alone. Alone means flying solo; alone doesn't mean lonely. One can be alone, strong and happy at the same time. I think young girls should develop more confidence in themselves. Being self-contented is the new cool," she added.
Her previous songs like "Bhartiya nari and "Honney Bunny" were also made with an intent to deliver thought-provoking messages to her audience.
"Music has the power to heal, and change lives. A good song can change the way you feel or think, and I think that's beautiful. I'm glad that I'm able to do my bit to bring about a positive change. I hope that my song 'Chadd ke na jaa' also helps give women a new perspective, and builds their self-confidence," she said.
The song will release on June 11.
