Michael B. Jordan, Michael Shannon to star in Fahrenheit 451
Los Angeles April 20 (IANS) Actors Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon will be coming together for a TV film adaptation of Ray Bradbury s classic novel Fahrenheit 451.
The film is being developed by HBO reports variety.com.
Based on Bradbury s novel the TV film depicts a future where media is an opiate history is outlawed and firemen burn books.
Jordan will play Montag a young fireman who forsakes his world battles his mentor and struggles to regain his humanity. Shannon will play Beatty Montag s fireman captain and mentor.
Ramin Bahrani is directing the film.
Though in early development according to sources the project is moving toward a production commitment at HBO.
