Haven t spoken to Cheryl for six months: Cowell

London July 17 (IANS) Music mogul Simon Cowell has denied rumours that he is offering singer Cheryl 500 000 pounds to return as judge on "The X Factor" and says he has not spoken to her for the past six months now.

It s b******t. I haven t spoken to her (Cheryl) in six months " Cowell told mirror.co.uk.

Cheryl s last appearance on "The X Factor" was as a judge in 2015. She has since given birth to baby Bear -- born in March -- with partner Liam Payne.

She first appeared on the show in 2008 But in 2011 Cheryl quit the British version of the show to join the US version and was then axed by Cowell in the auditions round over claims viewers were struggling with her Geordie accent. Cheryl returned on the show in 2014.
