Meghna Naidu on bed rest after cyst removal

Mumbai July 29 (IANS) Actress Meghna Naidu has been advised bed rest for two weeks after she underwent a cyst removal surgery.

Meghna underwent surgery on Friday.

"I had a cyst on my back because of a blackhead which I didn t know. Slowly it grew into a big ball. It happened because I was careless for the last one year when I was told that there is a lump on my back and I should get it checked. I never did " Meghna said in a statement.

"Recently it started hurting and then I got it checked. The doctor said it is infected and has to be surgically removed as soon as possible. So now I have few stitches on my back and have been advised bed rest for two weeks " she added.

Meghna is best known for her roles in southern and Bollywood films like "Prudhvi Narayana" "Katthegalu Saar Katthegalu" "Mashooka" and "Vaitheeswaran".

Besides films Meghna has also made a name for herself on the small screen. She was last seen on the popular Colors show "Sasural Simar Ka".
