Bomer to go behind the camera for American Crime Story...

Los Angeles Oct 3 (IANS) Actor Matt Bomer will be making his directorial debut with an episode of "American Crime Story: Versace".

There are reports that the 39-year-old has been finalised as the director for one episode by his friend Ryan Murphy who is the series executive producer.

According to TV Line this will mark the actor s directorial debut reports dailymail.co.uk.

Bomer will call the shots for the eighth episode of the second season which is set for a January premiere.

The story follows the murder of fashion mogul Gianni Versace who was gunned down in 1997 while walking back to his home from a local cafe.

Bomer and Murphy have frequently worked together in the past. Bomer a Golden Globe Winner previously starred in "The Normal Heart" and "American Horror Story". He also appeared in "The New Normal" and "Glee". All were either produced or created by Murphy.
