Rakul Preet, Karthi to again join hands

Chennai Oct 6 (IANS) Actress Rakul Preet Singh and co-star Karthi who have worked together in upcoming Tamil action thriller "Theeram Adhigaaram Ondru" are set to reunite for another yet-untitled Tamil project a source said.

"They are teaming up again for a romantic drama. The film will be directed by debutant Rajath and will go on the floors next year " a source from the film s unit told IANS.

Last seen on screen in Mahesh Babu s Telugu-Tamil bilingual "Spyder" Rakul hopes to bounce back strongly with "Theeram Adhigaaram Ondru".

Her previous Tamil outings "Puthagam" and "Yennamo Yedho" were duds.

"I don t see Adhigaaram as a comeback to Tamil industry. I have been working round the year in Telugu industry. I have been busy. It s just that my focus has been on Telugu filmdom these last couple of years " Rakul had told IANS.

The new Karthi Rakul project will be bankrolled by Prince Picture who had produced Suriya s "SI 3".
