June 02 (WTN) - By having more friends and increasing social circle, the effect of age on the brain is delayed, the mind is remains safe and the quality of life improves. This revealing has happened in a new research. According to research, the part of the brain that feels emotions, memories and motivations is clearly influenced by age. Social relationships are preserved in this part of the mind of the people.

Elizabeth Kirby, chief researcher of the Neurological Institute at 'Ohio State University' in Columbus, USA, said, "Our research has revealed that the socially active person has an impact of age on the brain".

Under the journal 'Frontier in Aging Neuroscience' published research, the team of researchers formed two groups of 15-18 months rats and studied for three months where their natural memory power began to decline.

The memory of rats was tested by researching to identify a toy. According to the results of the research, the memory of the rats living in the group was better.

Kirby said, “Where the mice living with a partner alone failed to recognize that some object has been removed, on the other hand the rats living in the group gave the best results. They went to the old toys kept in other place and they ignored the other toys kept on their places”.
