No Beer in Goa beaches, drinking other alcoholic drinks also banned

Heavy Penalty on violation, Penalty on using plastic bags increased from Rs.100 to 2500
(WTN) No alcohol drinks on beaches, Goa Government issued a new decree for tourists. After 15th August, there will be a ban on drinking alcohol in public places of Goa. A heavy penalty will be imposed on breaking the rules.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar says that this decision has been taken in view of the complaints of plastic bottles, plastic waste and women's complaints being spread all over the sea in Goa. Apart from this, fines will be imposed on those who use the plastic bags and those who use it in the middle of Goa and in the city. On using plastic bags, the amount of penalty has been increased from Rs. 100 to Rs. 2500.
After this decision no tourist will be able to drink alcohol while sitting in the middle of Goa, but drinks can be consumed by the licensed restaurants or bars. Even before this, the government has implemented these rules but now it will be implemented strictly. Through this ban, the Government of Goa wants to clear the middle of it so that the non-alcoholic drinker can also enjoy peacefully.
