August 1 (WTN) World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated every year from 1 to 7 August to create awareness of breastfeeding and improve the health of babies around the world.
World Breast Feeding Week has begun today. Motive to celebrate is to encourage breastfeeding in all over the world. Here are some facts related to breastfeeding
 
Breastfeeding is must for the child

Mother's milk is like elixir or amrit for the child. It is highly recommended that mother have to feed baby just after birth. Ideally baby is dependent on mother milk only for 6 months of birth. Breastfeeding is the important for child's physical development.
 

Benefits of breastfeeding for children
 
1. Bones strengthening
By drinking mother's milk, the body of the child gets all vitamins and proteins. The nutrients present in the body work to strengthen the bones of the children and protect them from diseases.
 
2. Development of the brain
Mother's milk develops a child's brain. It also increases the ability of the child to think. If you want children to be breastfeed, then they should breastfeed.
 
3. Protection of children from allergies
The properties found in mother's milk do not allow the child to have any kind of allergies. To keep the baby away from diseases, drink milk for 6 months.
 
4. Obesity Rescue
Breastfeeding does not cause obesity problems for children. Children who breastfeed for long time have balanced body figure.

5. Safety from Illnesses
Breastfeeding reduces the risk of type 1, type 2 diabetes, cholesterol, and intestinal diseases.
 

The right time to stop breast feeds

Children should breastfeed from 6 months to 1½ years. It might be continue afterwards but sometimes because of this baby totally dependent on it and it delays habit to take other food items. Some negative impact can be occur on women's body due to long time span.
