Rocket man K. Sivan appointed new ISRO chief (Lead)
New Delhi Jan 10 (IANS) Eminent scientist K. Sivan known as the "Rocket Man" for his significant contribution in the development of cryogenic engines for India s space programme was on Wednesday appointed as the new Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
Currently the Director of Vikram Sson during which a bystander Surendra Singh was killed in police firing.
The Rajput community in two districts of Rajasthan had been on the streets demanding a CBI probe into the case and bowing to their demands the state government decided to hand over the case to the premier investigation agency.
