Pleasant Sunday morning in Delhi

New Delhi April 22 (IANS) It was a sunny and pleasant morning in the national capital on Sunday with the minimum temperature recorded at 21.2 degrees Celsius two notches below the season s average the Met Office said.

The weather office has predicted a windy day ahead. "The sky will remain clear with strong surface winds likely to occur during the day " an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 47 per cent.

Saturday s maximum temperature settled at 34.3 degrees Celsius four notches below the season s average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius a notch above the season s average.
