Mercury dips in Delhi
New Delhi March 12 (IANS) The minimum temperature dipped to 10.5 degrees Celsius five notches below the season s average owing to rains here on the second consecutive night.
According to the weather office Delhi received 6.1 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours.
The Met office forecast a clear sky ahead in the day.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 93 per cent an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Saturday s maximum temperature settled at 23.6 degrees Celsius six notches below the season s average and the minimum temperature was 11.4 degrees Celsius three notches above the season s average.
