14-year-old tigress dies at Goa zoo
Panaji June 28 (IANS) Fourteen-year-old tigress Sandhya one of the oldest and most popular inmates of the state s only zoo at Bondla in south Goa died on Wednesday.
A statement issued by the state s Forest Department said that the tigress died of natural causes.
She was brought from Indira Gandhi Zoological Park in Visakhapatnam in 2009.
